Creating custom post type for Authors in Woocommerce

I’m trying to integrate the ability to search for Author profiles with the JetSearch plugin.
Currently it does not allow for users to search for/by Authors. However, it has the ability to search by custom post type.

If it is possible to create a custom post type for all the Authors in our website, we can assign the custom post type to search query which will then pull search results from it.

So, is it possible to create a custom post type which will be assigned to all authors with a product in Woocommerce?

If we can do this, it would be of great help.
