Woocommerce paging incorrect url

I have a problem happening with the paging on a page, which is using the woocommerce plugin.

Locally the paging works fine, and the 2nd page button(or the next arrow) points to:
somePage/somePage/page/2/ (as it should).

But, the same thing uploaded on a server is changed to:
/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?paged=2 and this opens an empty page with a 0 in it.

Console says:Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 () admin-ajax.php:1

A weird thing i realized is that this is happening on chrome/edge but not IE.

Also, I realized that when refreshing the page the URL is correct at first, but then gets overwritten to the incorrect one.

I’m not very familiar with WP, so i’m not sure in which file/line to look at to detect possible problems. Any suggestions?
